Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Driving up Timberland road yesterday trying to find the Haslem creek trans Canada trail, at the end of the road we drove past the trailer park and the parking lot for comosem college training yard for heavy equipment, it was a little ways past here and we found the trail, it was flooded by the road. so parking the car we scouted out the area to find a trail to by pass the flooded area, Gail and i were able to find a path for Gail to maneuver through and getting to a fence we found the Haslem creek trans Canada trail this trail was made by volunteers and they had done a great job . It is a rough trail and and coming to the Hanging bridge you have a fabulous sight of roaring Haslem creek underneath you , the creek narrows at this spot and has to go through a narrow canyon with huge boulders laying in it at this time of the year the creek is full and the view is great, going past the bridge you come to a old road bed which you follow for a while till you come to a steep climb that follows the contour of the hill along side the creek, this part of the trail was kind of soggy so it was hard to hike on it , going back along the trail we headed back to the bridge and car enjoying the sun and fresh air.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
