Running-- Not Running-- Running

It seems like the last week has been a bit off a roller coaster with  Xmas shopping  looking through the Malls  the deals that they are giving people to come into their stores and buy and buy some more all at their reduced prices,  Then to come home watch Curling , Hockey  eat some chips some  butter tarts - mincemeat tart, chocolate covered jellybeans short bread cookies   , etc---- and then running I  had forgotten to go out and run its dark now and I just hate going out in the dark and run so read a book  watch T,V-- Look at the Internet  and this seems to go on all week and I have forgotten were my runners are or what they look like probably getting mouldy somewhere  or else the dogs have found them and are tossing them around, hoping I will see them and take them for a walk, Walking around wondering were the time goes  How the kids have grown and have their own lives and   paths with their adventures that they follow, grandson came over for a day. man! He's grown , learning more things each time I see him, It was a short visit , and they went back home again. I still haven't gone  for a run, tomorrow. Its quite in the house again, no little feet running around  and no story book reading to listen to. I'm walking the dogs thinking of Xmases when I was away from home walking around  Iserlohn, Dusseldorf,Hemer or visiting relatives in Holland , Being invited to go on a outdoor skating competition with relatives on the lakes around a village called Grootegast  thinking that every one from Canada would know how to skate on wooden  speed skates  so they tightened them on my feet and away I went it was a 25 K.M ice skating  competition and these skates aren't like hockey skates they seemed a mile long and the distance was something else I thought I  would never see the end I made it  to the finish years later i was send a little medal saying i finished the race, Remembering  Christmases and  presents tripping through all the paper on the floor eating our chocolate letters and getting our socks - pj or a shirt not expecting anything more but always wondering what you would get.   Remembering that Xmas is about  the birth of Jesus .--- Tomorrow  I will go for a run.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
