Friday-- 11--12

Remembrance day is over and it seems we have forgotten already. It must have been quite something to stare over Flanders fields that was bombed and full of holes and mud and here this little old Poppy grows, A red poppy that would symbolize so many memories of comrades, friends and fam.                                                    Today's run went okay but picking a harder running route then I thought it would be  It kind of took the gas out of me , after not running for a day or so it always seems to take a bit to get going and today was no exception, Running up drinkwater road you start  with a flat stretch and once you get going , you look up and here this hill looms ahead of you  which gets higher as you get closer, I managed to get to the top but it took lots of deep breathing and sweating, let alone a few curses this all helped me get to the Lake cowichan hwy, from there to Satlam and Menzie road this part was relative flat which made up for everything , although I did have to run a few hills here also and the down hill started by Vimy hall  although By this time my legs weren't going as fast as they had at the start and even the straight and down hill  sections had me working a bit harder then normally So it felt good to get to Cliff road in duncan the end of my run.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
