Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Trail Run
Parking the car on Cliff road doing a bit of a walk for warm up I'm of for another run this time I went along government street which turns into cowichan lakes road Running along here till I get to a bridge and going down the side of the bridge you have the trans Canada trail which runs along side an creek, running west towards Sathlam . the trail is nice to run on and you only have one hill were the trail has to go over the creek, you go down and up the other side then it stays level , I shouldn't say level because going this way there is a steady slope which has you pushing forward and working hard keeping your arms and breathing even although you wonder why its so tough, till you realize you re going uphill getting to tansor rd the trail crosses the old Lake cowichan road and you run through the country running along side tansor rd on one side and a bit further you run along side Payne rd somewhere in this area there is an old Chinese burial ground running an other couple of k.m the trail starts to run along hwy 18 and my time was up . Turning back I pass an old gate with a sign saying private road that could have been the cemetery Although I didnt relize it at the moment. Running back I concentrated on my breathing and doing a few speed work outs this was made easier . going back to Duncan the trail grade was sloping down and it seemed that it only took me half the time to get back. Train Smart -- Run relaxed.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
