Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Tuesday
Kept busy today ,going for a run with the Saltair Gang this morning and starting a bit late it took me a while to catch up too the front group of Dave ,Phil and Chris ,coming to the end of Stocking creek I was able to catch up and we continued to the gate were we turned around for our run to Balas the first half of the run made me go a bit faster then normal seeing I had the front group in sight a couple of times during the run so that i could see if I was making any headway and how my running pace had been going, This made me take a bit longer stride then normal so that i could cover more ground with each stride I was taking, always trying to land on my mid foot so I could roll forward and push off sooner and harder with my feet, Most athletes lose from one to two litres of sweat per hour when running that is why its important to drink not just water but a sport drink each athlete has their own nutritional needs. Run safe and challenge yourselves,, At night after doing a few Geo cache sites around Chemainus , Gail and I headed for the gryphon Liar which had opened a few weeks ago at the old Omega restuarant site for a quit and enjoyable dinner.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
