Dashing out the door this morning so that I wouldn't miss my ride to coronation sq , here we met Dave as he was getting there the same time as Phil and I drove in. walking down the parking lot as a warm up I wonder how many runners actually warm up proper before going out for a run, MY warm up usually consists of running slow at the start and once I feel loosened up i go a bid faster and gradually I'm going at my normal pace, I know its not how it is supposed to go, but it seems to work for me , I'm a bit stiff but I can still keep a good pace going. This morning we ran along the Holland creek trail and this always seem to warm you up in a hurry , mainly because it is a tough hilly route that we go on and not stopping on the uphills were even mountain goats would have trouble keeping a steady pace . Getting to the top of the trail we go past the reservoir to continue our run towards the chicken ladder here its a bit easier and the slope has turned into a gradual uphill to the end of the trail. having my GPS with me we ended up doing  some more hill climbing . by going up the chicken ladder to find a Geo Cache. seeing the coordinates were jumping around to much, I found it better not to continue and turned around and we ended up running along Holland creek , towards Coronation sq in Ladysmith were we ended up for  some refreshments before heading home,

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
