Rockey trail once you turn right coming from chicken ladder, have to watch your footing, loose rocks

chicken ladder the sandy part of the trail It gets steeper here and hard to run up.

this road runs along side holland creek gong to the chicken ladder.

this s a map of stocking and hearth lake trail system------------
I was going for a run to hearth lake and stocking lake but getting to the top of the chicken ladder I made a right turn and ended up on brannon forestry road

the forestry road is just like a gravel road and nice for running , running along this road I turn into a quad trail and that was the end of my runing from here it was a steady hike along a narrow path that took me somewhere between holland Lake and Bannon road I must have been close to holland Lake before the path tapered of to nothing an I ended up hiking down hill finding the creek I stuck to this instead of following the quad trail down-----

The following pictures are of some waterfalls on the creek-- th quad trail and some logs I manuevered over and under-----

lots of nice sights I kinda had to spent a couple of minutes in the cabin , a bit of hail was coming down.

Once on the trail I managed to get into a run again and it doesnttake all that long to get back to the Ladysmith sportplex and back home---

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
