Receiving a phone call this morning and an other call a half hour later to find out if I was available to go to work at Avrill creek winery, we are placing plastic sheeting over the rows of grapes so that they will grow faster, by doing this we are creating tents or green houses over the rows of grapes. After work I went for a eleven km run to Chemainus and back to Saltair, im planing on running the Sooke 10 km race its the last race of the Island race series and the Ladysmith Striders are planning on a good turnout. So this runner wanted to know if its bad to pass a runner in the finishing chute, after the finishing line. I dont believe they give out ribbons our draw prizes to people that go through the finishing chute the fastest the race is over relax, unless you have to reach a porta pottie. Run Safe --- Run Smart.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
