Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

First Run
Seven of us went out for a run this morning , it was still dark and we stayed on the side walk as much as we could, we ran into Leane on our run out ,she joined Pauline, Bala, Chris, and Dolly. Dave, Phil and myself were running on ahead, once I was loosened up and warmed up, I started to lengthen my stride a bit and started to get into my own rhythm and wanted to get into a comfortable pace for a eight k.m run,This took a bit of pushing myself and I know that to get up to par I,ll need some races to really see were im at.Or do more speed work this helps also. We covered sixteen k.m this morning with Cook str in Chemainus being the turn around point, Getting to Cook str Phill and I ran to Old Victoria rd which we ran on to get back to Chemainus rd and through Stocking creek Park and back to Chemainus rd once more to head back to Cornation squire, TO finish at Esquire coffee,Were all the other runner finished. To end the first run off the year. Run Safe -- Be seen.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
