There were over five hundred finishers for the the race and getting in a favorite spot seemed kind of hard to do, all the runners were trying to get a good start, some starting in the front with the thought that they finish 100th or eightieth in the last race that if they started in eightieth spot they would finish that way this race, although this seems to work some time, you do have to run a different type of race, and you do have to start faster seeing youre in a faster running group, while if you start back a bit you seem to ease into your stride more easily and gain your ground that you think you lost with overtaking the slower runners that had started at the front of the pack, and are slowly being over taken by the faster runners that had started smarter, this is the problem I seem to be having, by starting to fast and running out of energy before I even start the race,The Cobble Hill 10 km has a few back and forth roads and although the Hills aren't at any height the do seem to go on for aways and once you're finished one up and down stretch there doesn't seem to be to much of a straight stretch before youre on a gradual incline again, and like all races being able to keep a steady pace and knowing when to pick it up is when you finish the run knowing that you did youre best. The weather for the race was perfect and every one enjoyed the race and were glad to get over that magic line at the end

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
