Our Last Group Run

Meeting at Esquire Coffee with the weather being cold and foggy and all off us runners bundled up with our new running gear that we had received from Santa. There were the usual runners and the we had visitors joining us for our run we had a good turn out this morning with a over a dozen people turning out for the run. Mountain runner let the charge with all off us following behind this morning he led us from our normal run, by leading us up Ladysmith to sixth ave this is an elevation of over 8o meters we ended up doing. Which this morning was no easy chore, most of us had our bellies full of CHRISTMAS goodies and this was making our run a bit more challenging, but mtn runner led us on like a drill Sergeant and just before Malone str we hit Holland creek trail to continue to the new subdivision by Colonia dr and from there to Therres crescent an then the power lines to the logging road and down hill again by this time the group had broken up into smaller groups some taken a shorter route back again and others following a bit behind, the group ran together in a good group this morning and we all seemed to enjoy the camaraderie of running together, this would be our last group run together for this year so we had a good get together at esquire only to be joined by Gayla who had started the run a hour later and had assumed we had taken our usual sunday run along chemainus rd and back.RunHard-- Run Safe. ---- End and Start the year right.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
