Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Going for a run today . ?
We have been in a roller coaster riding the different waves of the weather that is thrown out our way , one day we have 4 inches of snow the next day its pouring rain and surprise today not much snow left, a clear day a bit of clouds and yes its mild a good day to get out for a run,Wed I was watching the rain bounce of the road, the drops looked as big as marbles so I spent some time on the rower chalking up the miles while listening to the radio blare out their songs, so besides going out for a walk. I did manage to chalk up the miles, but I find that their is nothing better then lacing up your runners and being outside and putting on the miles.Run Hard--Train Smart. So after taking my friends for a walk and counting that as a warm up for my run I head up Chemainus rd and throw my self at the gusting wind that was hurdling itself at me as I throwing myself at the tenacious wind as it was whipping itself around me in big gusts, Yes there was a bit of wind, mostly me breathing hard . It seemed that it never there blowing on your back when you run up the hills or when you re running on a flat piece of ground and feel in need of some help to keep your feet moving. But you always seem to look forward to that breeze and it does help to keep the perspiration of your face when you are running. Exercises indoor seemed to make quit a difference in my breathing rhythm, it must be that I push myself a bit more when Im running along the road.Yes I did make it to Chemainus and turned around by Askew Park to head up Old Victoria where I could have used some wind, and back to saltair.Run Safe-- Have Fun when you run.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
