Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

The Esquire run
It was still dark this morning when i went for my run with the Ladysmith strider's, we had a nice group out this morning and the nine of us headed out across the hwy to start our morning run along Chemainus rd toward Chemainus, starting in one group it didn't take us long to break up in smaller groups with everyone pairing up to run at their own speed and in their own group, I ended up with Dave and it wasnt long before we wear a bit ahead of the group, running to Olson rd and to Olson Way and turned into the back of Princess Dianne Park coming out at Olson rd again , this part of the run wasnt too bad it has some small inclines, two runners running together is never easy and when one is slowing down the other runner digs a bit deeper to push the other runner a bit more till he gets on tempo ,this works for both runners and is a good training tool to pick up your pace or to see how you measure up with your speed, seeing both Dave and me are more on the competitive side we ended up with a good sweat and ended up at esquire for a good cup of coffee. Run Smart--- Be visible when running.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
