Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Doing a bunch of things that were on my to do list I was able get out for my run later in the morning and headed out from Saltair to the Holland Creek Trail to do a longer run then what I have been doing, Getting to the trail I was warmed up and ready to tackle the stairs and the trail, going on the north side first I was able to make it to all the stairs alright but I wasn't able to run up any of them except the last one which didn't seem to bad, there wasn't to much traffic on the trail and after all the rain we had the trail on this side of the trail was good to run on going over the bridge and up the hill I tried to make it to the top but didn't make it end walked a ways before turning left on the trail heading back to the hwy, this side of the trail needs a bit of work although all the trees that had been on the trail on my previous run had been chopped up and cleared off the trail there is still some sloppy parts on the trail getting to the trail and back on the road I headed for Saltair only to be faced by the lagoon hill and here my mind was trying to tell me to start walking, talking my self out of this idea I shortened my stride a bit making sure that I didn't reach to far in front of my body with my stride and with a slight lean forward I made it up the hill and to the finish. In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
