Victoria

Leaving the house this morning for a commute to Victoria wasn't much fun the ride over the Malahat was wet with lots of spray comming from the vehicles ,but we were created by sunshine once we got here and are enjoying the sunshine here at the moment and hope that it will follow us back home. Glad to here that Cinnamon bun went great . Did you know that handling a race bib number from over 400 participants it has to be seen and handled by the recorder, the bib number ripper, the person that places the number on a pin, and then there is the person that has to spot the runner that leaves the chute before their race number is taken from them, then the person that runs the full pin with numbers to the computer dude, and the list goes on.So yes the race number does get handled more then once. Getting home I enjoyed myself by going for a nice relaxing run and through the park a couple of times and going over Olson rd.school rd and the lagoon hill only to get warmed up for the run up Gate rd . Run Safe-- Train Smart. A paragraph from Running Room, and a accolade to the event organizers Hello All, The Running Room Club Update: Nanaimo Store (Country Club Centre, Unit 120D) We have decided that the Christmas season officially arrives with the annual running of the Cinammon Bun Fun Run 5k/10k in Ladysmith, which took place this past Sunday. This great event finally got great weather and had a record number of participants…456!!! The Ladysmith Striders did a wonderful job with a super duper organized and friendly event that made everyone welcome. Also there were super duper yummy cinnamon buns after the run too!!! Most importantly, the event’s huge success means that the Ladysmith Food Bank received a great infusion of food for families in need.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
