Holland Creek Trail

Going for a run yesterday, our little group of runners met at Bala,s house to start our morning run but after a few moments of looking at the wind blowing and the rain starting to come down a bit harder it was decided that a coffee break was a better way to spent our time, only to discover that once we were inside the wind died down and the sun came out, Oh well that's the breaks. So Saturday morning I went out for a run to Holland creek trail and did the north side first, this side has about seven stairs going up although some are quite short but the steepness makes up for this and this is a good work out for endurance training. I hadn't gone very far and I ran into Dolly and Robin running the trail but only going in the opposite direction, there seemed to be lots of people on the trail this morning which made it interesting seeing you had to dodge everyone's dog that was using the trail so there were a few distractions along the way, getting on the south side of the trail went a bit better with fewer people using this side, its hillier and the trail is a rougher so I had to keep my eyes open and be more alert for obstacles on the trail I still like this run from Saltair to the end of Holland creek and back to Saltair and weather permitting Ill try to do this run more often. Run Smart-- Be Safe.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
