Training run

Nice day for a run and today I went towards chemainus and to Bald eagle campsite it went better today then the first time I tried this route and the distance seemed to be shorter than yesterday, the road still seemed the same first a hill some down slope and some straight stretches but i was able to keep my pace going at a steady stride coming to bald eagle campsite I turned right on Ashcroft road and here you shorten the pace a bit seeing there is a small uphill here coming to the first corner I make a sharp left and end up on a overgrown logging road which takes me to Hudson road and from here straight on to the island hwy, the trail is a bit rough but you have to watch your footing as you run along the trail. Coming to the hwy I have to make a right turn and run towards Ladysmith, first I have a slight down hill and getting on the hwy i am able to pick up the pace a bit till I get to a long gradual hill and then a down and up hill again I pass the lights to cut off towards Chemainus passing the lights I run a bit further to the logging road turning on the logging road i head back towards chemainus, once on the chemainus road i head back towards saltair escorted by Gail on her bike. No mishaps to report and the run went good and i was able to keep my pace going by keeping my stride a bit shorter then I normally do.Train right -Run smart

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
