Esquire coffee

Getting up before the rooster got up to crow and cackle at all of us getting up this early in the morning when it was still dark outside ,and the weather didn't look to inviting either. I ended up putting on three shirts and a wind jacket, to keep the dampness out. Arriving at Esquire coffee a group of eight runners were chomping at the bit ready to head out for our morning run, getting out of the car and shaking a bit just to warm up that is, and not doing much of a warm up I started out a bit slow for the first half of a km, then mountain runner who had also stayed behind started to speed up a bit to catch up with Dave and Phil who by this time were a ahead off us, turning up the speed MT runner and myself managed to catch up to Dave and Phil around stocking creek estate, running together in a group of four we kind of hop scotch our way up the hwy each of us taking turns to speed up a bit when cars where coming towards usso that cars would have enough room to pass ,coming to Saltair it was getting a bid to warm stopping to take of my jacket , that i placed by our driveway, we had a nice pace going and must of had a 4 to 5 min per km pace going at this time. keeping this pace till we got to our turn about at the 8k,m mark we headed back to cornation sq in Ladysmith, this time it was Dave and I who managed to speed up with Dave starting of with a good fast pace and after that we ended up pushing each other on by speeding up and slowing a bit until the other runner sped up and the other runner trying to keep up this we kept up all the way back to Esquire at coronation sq. this i kind of like because i find that when you ran a race you usually ran like this to either tire the oponent out or to slow him down so if you have enough left you can finish the race ahead of him. Run Smart-- Stay safe.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
