Kinsole Thresle Trail

Seemed Like a good day to see if I could run from Meadow view rd by  Shawnigan Lake  to the Kinsole Thresle, So loaded up Gail's bike and off we went. Not knowing the excact starting point on meadow view road I decided to start at the bottem of the street ,the start is great you go down to Renfrew rd and here the fun starts you end up getting a few up and down slopes to go over just to warm you up for the run, Its nice to have the hills in the beginning, getting on west Shawnigan rd I realize that i had only gone a couple of K.m  not bad only an other eighteen k.m to go , running an other couple of km I cross the road to go on a rocky trail which take me and Gail who's riding her mt bike to the trans Canada trail which takes you to the Kinsole thresle as long as you head west.  running and riding a bike becomes much easier here . for me the running went great as long as I stay in the travelled part of the trail, getting to close to the edges  your feet slideI the loose gravel and you loose traction each time you push off a bit with your feet, the bonus was that there are no big hills here, that is until I got back to Renfrew road , were I leave the trail to make up for an extra couple of k.m  Its uphill here its a good thing it wasn't hot out, getting to Clen Eagle road I follow this road down hill till i ran about fourteen k.m then I join on to the Kinsole thresle trail again and run as far as the thresle to turn around again to run to Renfew rd the running is still going good here , its mosly down hill here except when you get about 3k,m from the end you have the same hills to run up and down  on as the once you had at the start.only this time my legs were getting tired  and you didn't really feel like pushing yourself  and the hills did seem a lot higher, I finished my run by Discovery school on Meadow rd and walked back to the car  I didn't quit make it to 21 km, they had the far end of the thresle blocked off  and to make it a bit easier I didn't go and do the detour around the fenced area but decided to turn around and run back to the start,

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
