Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Wouldn't you know it going out of my driveway and somebody turns on the water tap, and the rain starts , This always temps you to turn around and wait for the sun to appear, Coming to ladysmith a whole group of runners are gathered underneath a overhang by one of Ladysmiths fast food outlets, Probably wondering the same as me why run in the rain, The more surprising thing was the amount of people that were there for the run, No wonder seeing that most of the runners had been house bound by the snow, Still a bit dark this morning and it didn't take long for the runners to find the water puddles and wet feet, the rain had slowed and stopped and the running seemed to go better some of the group doing 10 k.m and others going a bit further covering fifteen k.m,Joining up with one runner and talking her into running with us much to her trepidation she joined us in our run up to Cook street and back along old victoria rd. It is always hard to chance your pace to to a different stride and it it seemed that now matter how hard you tried to maintain a pace, that every one else runs, you would unknowingly be close to your own pace a while later much to the discomfort of the other runners , We finished our run and over a cup of coffee made plans for the week ahead.-- Run Safe.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
