Rainy Day

Had to wait for the rain to stop today before I went for a run , but around noon today the sun broke through the clouds and out I went, felt good to get out and listen to the water running through the ditches beside the road. Just a nice run not hurrying and even stopping to talk to Ken on Olson road who was waiting for a customer to buy a christmas tree from him , ran around Saltair and up the lagoon to come back along the new trans Canada trail along the railway track and through stocking creek park to go home again just in time it was threatening me again with rain.
Running along hillcrest logging rd to power line on Monday A cemetary on the way to hillsixty Not running to much this week and some time I wonder why some people are so addicted to going out all the time{ Sounds like Me} and to Quote some one { try fitness shortcuts whenever possible. They make staying fit more manageable and more sustainable, and they free up time for more leisurely, pleasurable pursuits}. In the end, physical fitness is a tool; that helps us. Although you might find shortcuts by not going for a run or finding an other excuse to not go out , to stay fit you have to run more then a couple of times a week , three or more times anyway. Make it interesting and challenge your selves, by trying to run different speeds over a set distance or doing a run that has more hills in it or going out an extra mile further that day. With running you also should eat wholegrain food, unprocessed food , and even vegetables not candies, usually if it is in the centre isles of your grocery store its a no- no, but groceries around the outer isles are usually healthier .

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
