Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

tuesday morning I ran my usual loop of going to Blaine's crossing and back and made a side trip going through Gourley jane park and back to the road to head towards Gait rd and the hill , Gourley park goes towards the water and then a gradual climb back to chemainus rd. This warms you up for Gaits road which also has a mean hill, running through stocking park was easy going, Although you go a bit faster on the trail seeing its relative flat this takes care of the easy part,At night when Gail went for her spin classes I decided to run to Ladysmith, instead of doing the Gym workout , running up the lagoon hill took some doing and it had me breathing deep to get the oxygen, on the level stretch of road I ended up going a bit faster, And could feel that I had already done a run not to long ago, coming to cornation sg I ran along the r.r and under the hwy by the overpass to come out at holland creek trail running along the creek and seeing how far up the stairs I could run , I game close by some of them. The easier once I could manage So when I ran into Dolly and Robin on the trail It took a while before I had my breath back, Running up seven different set of stairs kind of gets you out of breath and then pushing yourself a bit to keep going , coming to menzies road I left the trail to go to the community centre to run around the track a couple of times then walked a bit too cool down,Thursday morning I ran into Chris ,Heather , Dolly and Pauline and Bala the Saltair running group that runs every tuesday and Thurs mornings . We all ended up at Pauline and Balas house for coffee and goodies Tomorrow its back to picking grapes so hears to that sunshine so we can stay dry.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
