Saison

running along with Jamie -Linda- Judie this morning meeting them at Nevel Rd and here we started along the trails of mt tzouhalem. trails were in great shape and we had no trouble with the rocks or roots , that is every one except me, it seems i can run trails by myself till the cows come home and not trip but when I run in a group I chance my pace and seem to drag my feet more then usually, Then those little roots that only stick out of the ground a half an inch seem to get attached to the bottom of my runners and pull me down, I tried the excuse of My bifocal classes was distorting things when I look down but nobody seemed to buy that excuse seeing they also had bifocals on and had no trouble, O-Kaay. How about entertainment, pretty boring run if nothing happens. Well this just goes to show you that no matter what your speed of running you should always be-aware of your terrain that your running on and don't become to lackadaisical when your running by not paying attention to your feet placement when it strikes the ground on trails or on the road. Running on side walks also has its dangers like a dip were a driveway goes across the sidewalk this also gives you a start when your feet drop and nothing seems to be there , and then the jolt or char you get when you hit the bottom of the dip,After our run I met Gail at Saison on Mays rd just outside of Duncan a French Bakery, Gail had biked here while I did my run. The bakery was packed and we wondered if any thing would be left when it was our turn to order, Train hard --Run smart,

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
