Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Today I ran with Phill and Dave
Thurs tomorrow and I get my hair cut that means the weather is going to get a bit cooler, but so far with summer barely under way we must be getting more warm weather, On Monday I went for a run by myself and went to hearth lake and back. Today Phil , Dave and myself went for a run to chicken ladder turn off, running on the hilly side of the trail first ,It took me awhile before i had my breathing down and then it seemed to get easier as we ran towards the chicken ladder the trail being dusty and slippery didnt help Then you have to watch for rocks an roots that seem to stick out as more and more people use the trail and wearing it down. on the way back we ran on the north side of the trail and better time was made . coming close to the stairs by the police station we turned and ran on the road that way we didn't have to run down the stairs, coming to dogwood drive it was a fast run down to Holland creek bridge here Dave made up his mind to tackle the hill on the other side of the bridge, so here we go up to Davis road this was a nice climb to be rewarded with an other fast run down the hill to the parking lot and coffee I think we might have made Phil work a bit to hard seeing he just finished driving from Edmonton to the Island the day before.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
