Why I Run

Going for a run later in the morning I started from Saltair and headed for Holland Creek trail choosing to do the North side first concentrating on my breathing and arm swing trying to breath in deep and letting the exhaling part take care of it self, running by my self today and I find that when you run you can do it alone, you can day dream, escape up the mountains, and have some solitude, to be a lonesome runner you don't have to be a recluse, you can do a lot of thinking and build character. With all this running I find myself at the end of Holland creek by the bridge an make it to the top of the hill to run along the gravel road that follows the power lines, You find that what used to be a struggle is easier to accomplish and I learn about endurance this way, and not to give up when things get tougher , running is a gift for every one to enjoy it lets me think about things that are valuable to me and in my life, A couple of times during the run I started to gaze around at the scenery and was reminded by the odd stick or stone laying around that i had to watch were I was running a couple off stumbles and my mind was on track again seeing I didn't want to pick the dirt or rocks out of my hands or knees if I tripped , I decided to take the scenic route home and ran to South Watts road getting close to watts road going over a little hill I ended up running behind a bear that was on the same trail as I was running on , we both stopped and looked at each other me making a scream hoping he would head into the woods,[an other reason i run you never no who,ll you run into] I ques he was in a good mood because he made a right turn and I was able to get on watts road to head home through stocking creek trail,I find that running and with a healthy diet, you'll notice a difference in the way you look and feel and be more energetic . Run Safe.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
