Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Mr Macho
Today while visiting the dentist , then walking home and starting to tear down the ramp at the back of the house. we don't believe that we,ll be using it any time soon , Gail was in Duncan visiting her exercise group and comes home and mentions that her sisters are going in the Gut buster race this Sunday at Westwood Lake in Nanaimo, Before I new it some voice said [ oh I should be able to do this], Oh know! now what am I getting myself into, Gail says we might as well get an entry form from the computer, so doing this filling it out and taking it to Frontrunner's in Nanaimo. Going to Romeo,s to start Garbo loading , I finally get to read about the coarse, It starts with [unforgettable 12.5km trail race, Be sure to wear some dark socks on race day and bring some dry shoes for post race as you will probably have to cross through a stream or two and might have to cross through a river once or twice. In addition to this, unless we have a drought yes you guessed it you have to run through a mud puddle , and on top of this its going to be "The Best Short Course Race Route on the Island". OH whoopee Im realy looking forward to this one and it should get me ready for the Twilight shuffle, that is if I dont freeze in the river and mud puddles,L O L -- I think I had better train for this one . Train Right -- Train Hard

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
