Running along Chemainus rd this morning coming to the Lagoon bridge the striders running group had broken up and were running in small groups each group going their own speed coming to Olson road was as far as we were going to go, that was till Pauline caught up to us and said that she wanted to go and do fifteen k.m., It wasnt hard to chance our minds and we were off again heading towards Chemainus, Malcom road came and it seemed that some of us turned back while Pualine , Dolly and Bala kept going to Cook street before they turned around to head back to Cornation square in Ladysmith . Phill, Chris and myself turned into Stocking creek trail and ran along the trail coming out by stocking creek estate, not feeling the need to push ourselves we ended up walking up the hill and part off the trail before we started to run again, coming out at Chemainus road we ran into Paulins group of runners who had run further than us, but had stayed on the road, having only a couple of k.m to go we stayed in a group till we got to esquire for our running reward by having a cup of coffee while taking up most of the chairs at the coffee shop.the walking breaks do more than just save energy. while walking this morning during our run, you use your muscles differently and even using different muscles, so that the running ones are actually getting a short rest. And hopefully after are short walking break you can usually recover the lost time by feeling refreshed and having recovered some of your tired running muscles. Train Hard-- Run Smart.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
