Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

What makes a good running Day
Going for the the Esquire Sunday run , a bright sky and no rain, the weather was perfect for running and that was shown by the runners that gathered for a coffee after the run , most of the runners ran their morning run in different groups of runners depending on their pace, not every one doing the same route , some running 10 k.m others did 15k.m and then a group also ran 18 k.m . The group I was running with ran to the Saltair pub road then circled back to Olson road to run through Pricess Diane Park and back to Stocking Creek trail and back to Cornation squire to meet up with every one else as they were also coming back from their cicuit. Starting with the group at 7:30 this morning we started running along Chemainus rd every one keeping up a chatter and this keeps your mind off the time and the distance that you are going running in a group also makes the runners keep a respectable pace and some time without you realizing the group is coing faster then they are used to and you slow down a bit and after awhile you end up going fast again by trying to keep up to each otherIts just like you are doing interval training. Run Smart --- Run Safe. I never did make it to Purdies chocolates today and spent my time going for a walk and in between watching the Olympics was able to go out for a bike ride to Chemainus river bridge and back, lots of people out today with the sun peaking out from behind the clouds.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
