running in the rain

Rumaging through my cupboard to find the right running gear to wear, flippers maybe, my snorkle s I could run through the pudles, or just my shorts I was going to get wet any way. Driving to the Lagoon I turned around and decided to read the paper as a second choice,Did you know that if you stood still you wouldnt get as wet as when you are running,It should rain all the time people run or walk faster, did you know that if you run as fast as the wind you would stay drier,It seems that as soon as rain starts to fall, people speed up their pace.do you think that by running faster you stay drier??? running or walking you have to figure on the rain hitting you not from the top of your head now its also hitting you from the front your face , legs, etc.then the speed your going and the size of the drops coming down Okay you chanced my mind im staying in were its dry, Heres to the striders that went out running this morning Phill, {sorry Iwasnt there} Mountain runner,Mike? Bala, Pauline, dolly, and then Gayla and Eliina. The coffee must of tasted good, Enjoy there is no better feeling then getting home and warming up, Run Hard-- Be safe

  1. Hi Simon,
We missed you this morning but cant blame you for turning around and reading the paper!! We all got thoroughly wet but at least it wasnt too windy or very cold. We ran up to Jarids Corner and back, but of course Pauline and Dolly ran a little bit further on to the pub. We were all glad to get inside Esquires for a coffee and chat. Great Blog Simon!!

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
