Rainy season

Yes we are getting liquid sunshine out here on the west coast and after having a nice dry summer the rain had been anticipated although when you work outdoors or your sport takes you outside you don't really like to see the rain.Working out side in the pouring rain yesterday at Avril creek wine yard it wasn't much fun but I lasted till noon before calling it quits, we are getting to the end of the grape picking season and have only a couple of days to go before we start with rolling up the netting and pruning the wines so the work here actually never stops, the pickers picked over 80 ton of grapes this year so that wasn't bad for here. My running has been kind of sporadic and I'm locking for that opening between showers to get out for my run I did get out on Thurs. and had a nice run watching my arm swing and truing to control my breathing a bit although this is kind of hard but i seem to manage alright. here's to sunshine and a good run
