Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Arm Swing
I mentioned arm swing at the end of yesterdays blog and I find that many runners use the wrong arm movement when running, you should keep your arms around a 90 degree angle , keep your shoulders straight and have your arms swinging in a RELAXED movement forward and back keeping the arms in a ninety degree and not more than 120 degree.Never should the arms or hands cross over the midline of your body.this only causes you to twist your hips the wrong way and makes you work harder and keeps you unbalanced. When running you should focus on pushing the elbows down and back as they are pulled forward by the stretched shoulder muscles. The important thing is to run relaxed and not tensed up. Remember when you,r body is tired you have to have you,re mind take over and say whats keeping you. Run Smart-- Train Hard

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
