Sundays Run====Ladysmith from rocky bluff

WE met in front of Esquire coffee to start our run and instead of going our usual way we ended up going by a running route that mt runner had set up some time ago. It seems that ladysmith has its share of hills and you find them quite easy when you are doing a run as we were doing this morning, starting at Esquire we zig zagged our way up the different roads to end up by the fire hall where we turned towards the the power lines and to run along this till we where on the old crown zellerbach logging road. it was nice running here seeing it was sloping down towards transfer beach in Ladysmith, although even running down hill you have to be cautious seeing you can easily over extend your stride this causes over stretching and you land harder on your feet which causes more stress on your knees and muscles tear, this also tires you out sooner,therefore you should try to control your pace when going downhill by having a shorter stride and also to lean a bit forward so that you have a better foot strike on the ground. Run Smart.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
