Outrigger canoeing

On Saterday it was a nice dayin Sidney the wind picked up in the afternoon and the paddlers had to pull a bit harder because of the current and the waves weren't getting any smaller. The middle outrigger yellow and red and the white ahma is a nanaimo crew and they placed first in the senior masters. Sunday morning and the alarm goes off to tell me to get going, and to go to ladysmith for the Sunday morning run with the Ladysmith strider's seven striders turned out and we went up Chemainus road, some of the runners did ten km and some of the runners training for the Victoria Half Marathon did eighteen km, Although I was trying to run in a relaxed pace some time you would pay attention to how your feet where landing after each stride,I was concentrating on landing on my feet and not my toes, landing on my toes would give me to much of a bounce and I did not want to hurt my Achilles by putting more pressure on that ligament. This I did mainly when running up hills and it seemed to work for me,I ran with Phill and dollie and dollie then ran with Kim so she ended up doing a few km more before heading back to Esquire for our chit chat and to organize our weekly runs.Run Safe --Run Smart

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
