Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

After doing chores like walking the dogs out on the trails behind our place and filling up a few wheelbarrow with fire wood and putting them in the shed , it was finally time to go for a run , first doing a few stretches by standing on my toes on the steps and letting my heels drop down ,holding this stance for a minute , then when I finished that I graped my knee and lifting up the knee to my middle I rotated my feet around in clockwise direction then the opposite direction first one leg then the other leg. Finished that an of I went through Stocking creek and past Camper corner coming to the hwy I crossed it and went up Davis rd and through to the power lines above Lady smith, this was a steady climb and like the stocking creek hill the Davis rd hill goes on and on and even though it didn't seem warm when I started it turned warm when I got to the top not having brought any fluid I was happy to see the ripe blackberries growing beside the trail, I ran along the power line to Holland creek trail and here i tuned on the south side of the creek and found it easier to run the trail from west to east ,seemed like the hills aren't as bad that way, at the end of the trail I came to the hwy and went under the bridge coming out on the railway track that took me back to Chemainus hwy and back to Saltair only to face one more hill going to the lagoon and a long hill to Saltair. This is a hilly run and I find that this training route prepares you for most races. Run Hard---- Run Smart.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
