Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Going for a run this morning proved to be a bit easier, First of all it wasn't hot and second my run started of by going downhill, which was great but when you get to the bottom you have to go back up again and this time I was heading up the lagoon hill towards Ladysmith this is a gradual climb that starts steep then tapers of to flat before going up again, This mornings run had me heading out towards Holland creek Trail seeing I hadn't done the trail for awhile I thought I would be ready for the run, as i was running the trail the hills did slow me down not like I was going at a great speed, guess you could call it a comfortable pace. Yes I did have to turn to my back up a couple of times and had to resort to walking a couple of hills which seemed to be steeper then I remember, I tried to walk fast when I was walking but found this a bit tricky going up hill with all the traffic on the trail more and more roots and rocks seem to be sticking out, so you have to keep an eye open to see where you areputting your feet. Getting to the top Iheaded south toward the powerlines and ran along the power line til Igot to the end of Battie driveturned on Davis rd to crossed the hwy and ended up on Chemainus rd to head downhil to the lagoon only to face my last chalengr of going up to Saltair and the finish of my run.RUNHard --Run Smart

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
