What the heck who is calling me and shaking me , telling me to wake up and to shut of my alarm , It's a early wake-up  call from Gail  reminding me to wake up and to get ready for the morning run, So I stagger out of bed and eat a bit have some cold tea and out the door to run with the guys starting from coronation sq. . It drizzled a bit this morning enough so that I wore a light jacket, but after running a bit it didn't take long for me to open up my jacket , it was getting to hot, I had started out slow  seeing I hadn't bothered to warm up so it didn't take long before I was well behind the leading runners, After a couple of K.M picking up the pace and extending my stride, I tried to catch up to the runners ahead, Keeping a steady pace It seemed that everyone was further ahead then I thought. It wasn't till I was close to the 5 k.m stretch of our run that I was able to catch up to the lead group . It seemed that the pace up front wasn't  all that different then what I had been running , we still had one solitary runner ahead of us so we decided to pick up the pace once again and catching up to him just before the turn around point just before Cook str, turning around we ran in a group off three runners and keeping our pace around 5 to a 5:20 pace . We headed back to Ladysmith on the way back we ran through stocking creek park and back on Chemainus Rd . there wasn't to much talking on the way back meaning we were all doing our best to keep up with each other. We did just under 14 k.m and that Coffee tasted good at Esquires.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
