How too Land your feet when running ??

What is a good way too land your feet.
This is one of the things I think about , how to land My feet on the ground when I'm running . You could land heels first which feels natural for many people and slower runners usually run this way , heel landing acts as a brake every time you land your feet over time it could result in knee injury shin splints, and pulled muscles, hamstring -calf - Achilles tendon.
The midfoot  landing which I like  and practise by landing my feet under my body with the ball off  my foot absorbing most of the weight then rolling forward and pushing off with your toes- feet and Achilles  tendon , I usually land my feet a couple of inches in front of myself  as if your feet are trying to catch up to your upper body when I'm running, I find it's good shock absorption , Less stress on calf-muscle and Achilles tendon But its not an natural foot strike so takes a gradual getting used too.
Then their is landing on your toes which is less stress on knees and ankles  and great for running fast, and for speed work  on the track, This usually  results in a  bouncing up and down motion and you use  more energy it also keeps you calf muscles tensed and could cause shin splints and plantar fascitis
Running with the group on  Tues. I fell in step with a runner  that surges when He runs,  although he does this unintentional I took advantage of his style of running and keeping  at bit faster pace and at times running just  ahead of him  , making him run a bit faster seeing he was trying to stay even with me, he had to run at his fast pace like he would do when he  surged .This made-him run at a faster pace-and to surge  he would have to pick it up an other notch,  Surging when you run plays an mental game with your opponents mind He sees you going al-out  and  try's to keep up with you ,  but usually the competition hasn't got the speed to keep up, or the adrenaline to keep-up does''t last quite long enough. Once my friend gets a bit more running under his belt I'll  have an hard time keeping up with him, then we will both be sweating.   Happy  and Safe running through the festive Holidays  This time of the year don't fool yourselves that an whole lot of eating equals a bit of running.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
