No Sweat

Went for a short run today , which gave me a bit more of a work out then I thought, The running went great and I had no problem with placing one foot ahead of the other one, and I didn't look down at my toes to see if they were still there, By placing my feet in front of each other I should mention that I maintained a space in between my feet  far enough apart that when I was running  they would land  just in front of my forward lean so that my body weight would pull me forward, this works great whether I'm running on the flat or on hilly terrain. Only on the hills I use a bit shorter stride My arms were also kept busy by swinging beside my body-elbows barely going past my midsection , not swinging in front of my chest as if I'm trying to fight of the Ninja warriors. But pushing my elbows back helping me to keep my pace. On the trails I kept focusing on the ground ahead always looking for the rocks and branches that are hidden under the leaves  covering the ground and hearing  the rustling sound as you run through them. I wasn't in a rush the group I had planned on running with had done a reverse route , so our paths didn't gross until they were on the way back  , they had done a smaller loop and I had done the longer loop first, I didn't push off to much with my feet so was doing more of jog then a run .This I find to be a more tiring  way of running it seems you land on your feet harder and  the turn over is not as smooth and fast like when I have a faster pace and better push off with the ball of my feet.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
