My Running ??

After Thursday run  Friday was a bit easy day with running in Duncan and going on the road again along gibbons  rd and back  by Tanzor, along the trans Canada trail running back to duncan. although the trail was slanted in my favour I didn't have the energy to push my self to hard.I guess my legs were still sore from yesterdays run.But running down hill did make it a bit better running. Friday night Gail and I headed to Nanaimo  were about fourteen people were waiting to go out in the outriggers , every one was divided into groups, with one six man boat full. One six man boat with five people and the four man boat with three people in it, We started at Brechin Point and headed towards Protection Island, and the around the back of Protection and new castle island back to Departure bay and to Brechin point, By this time it was getting dark this is around 6 p.m, coming around the tip of New castle Is. we Had the ferry boat coming in from Vancouver first he put us in the spot light then a honk with the horn and once past us he left us with some big rolling waves to paddle up and down on , they kind of hit us broadside so we didn't get much of a ride on them but it did give us a roller coaster affect By this time we were close to our destination, and into dry   shirts and a warm car.----- Thursday --Beautiful day today and a good way to get out again and pound that pavement although I dont know how long the good weather is going to last , we had a bit of white stuff on top of MT Brenton last night so for us that means that winter weather is on its way , Laced up my runners this morning to go To Bala's for our Thursday morning run, only four runners showed up, which was all right I hadn,t planned on doing any fast running,  running with Balla was just the right pace to warm up although I ran from home also to warm up. Coming to the end of Princess Diane Park, Dolly seemed to pick up the pace a bit and I followed, so it wasn't very long before Balla and Pauline were left behind, It was a good casual pace and we maintained this pace till we reached the top of Stocking creek Park, ere we waited for the other runners to catch up before heading back to Olson rd   on the way back we slowed our pace and stayed with the group to finish all at the same time.  The pace was comfortable and a good way to start running again

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
