Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Tired and Running ???
I went out for a run on Fri and even before I started I felt tired and wondered If I should continue after a while you think should I stop and walk and then run again many runners my self included think that if I stop or slow down is a failure and admitting defeat , but then running when I'm tired also causes me to run slouched and in a poor running form, and maybe to much tension . I could stop refocus walk and start over again time shouldn't matter it is a training run and I do them to help me solve my running problems and technique And a quot from a friend is that just because you have your running gear on doesn't mean you leave your brain at home. So I ended up slowing down a bit figuring that with the hike and then my run on Thursday I hadn't given myself enough time to recover. So I concentrated on landing on my fore foot then ball of my foot pushing of and noticed that the slower my movement the more I would land on my heel, the faster I went. I would land on the front of my feet and I would lift my thighs higher so that my legs would be freer to move forward. I finished my loop doing part of the Canada trail to tanzor cut off then heading to Gibbons rd and back to Duncan Its a quite loop not much traffic on the road and in a rural area the route has enough hills and straight stretches to make you have an good work out.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
