All happy before the race Ran a bit on Sunday just to get rid of the lactic acid in my legs and covered a 10 k.m run in the morning all though for the next couple of days I could feel my Quads from the down hill running |
On Tues morning I decided to test my legs again and this time went for a harder run Going through Stocking creek park then to the hwy and up South Watts road for a steady climb to the head of stocking Lake to run through the single track that comes out by the end of Hearth Lake I could still feel some fatigue from the weekend so didn't push myself and didn't go down the chicken ladder as I had planed on doing Instead I went along Hearth Lake and down to run along Holland creek trail and ended up by Cornation sq were I was able to run along Chemainus rd and back to Saltair. Roads, Hills and trails I covered 16 1/2 K.M this morning and ran and walked between 7 and 8 k.m per hour. I was clad to get to the end off the lagoon hill and started to walk by School road to tired to run any further, But getting ready for the next race which is longer then the last one .

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
