Sunday the 24

I could tell by last Friday that I had been doing to much hill repeats  going up and down a steep bank at the back of our house doing the repeats over and over and so by Saturday when I went for my run along Holland creek trail I could feel my leg muscles and they were saying slow down old man , listening to my survival mode I slowed down for the stairs that you get at the start of the trail on one side and then the hills on the other side but still enjoying the noisy creek as it meanders along beside the trail. My diet of eating  hot-cross buns haven't helped me any either and I'll have to see if I can speed up their demise and chance my diet, Having bought N B 1064 running shoes and doing a couple of 12 k.m runs with them I found them roomy in the toe box with lots of cushioning and seemed to be bouncing along as I ran in them especially after running in trail shoes for the last couple of months, Sunday morning getting to Esquire Coffee it looked as if no one had arrived, slowly the car doors opened  and in no time a group had assembled ready for our 12 or more km run, Having a few injured runners in our group  that had to take care of how far our fast they ran it didn't take long before we wear in smaller groups running along the road and the trails of stocking creek and then meeting again when we finished our run .At cornation sq in Ladysmith

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
