some of the down hills you had to make sure of your footing |
|
the puddles you jumped over or went around them |
|
lots of roots you had to be looking out for |
went for a run this morning but having feasted on hot cross buns that Gail had made last night the running was at a moderate clipAnd I was reminded with each step how good those buns had tasted it took a while before
I got back to my normall pace. Being in no hurry I took a few pictures of the trail and going from running in sunny weather to a whole bunch of snow . well a couple of cm. anyway the trail on the south side was muddy in spots and the rocks and roots sticking out and after each rain fall they get exposed a bit more above the ground but that is what trail running is supposed to be all about, running and rolling in the mud trying to maneuver your way around rocks and roots, and being aware of where you place your feet, the stairs arent getting any easier and still take lots of huffing and puffing . the sun was out and this made running more enjoyable

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
