BannonCreek forestry Road

9 km up the road they left some firewood
log on the road

It was a nice day to let the cob webs get blown out of my bike , I haven't been out for awhile so it felt good to ride out in the foothills of mt Brenton , Biking up south Wats rd till I got to the branch off for Bannon creek 1 or Bannon  creek 2 forestry rd, Getting here you have an uphill battle  but that is  were I end up using all my gears and hoping the bike wouldn't jump a ring or skip a gear , nothing worse then pushing on the pedals going up hill and your chain starts missing some teeth on  the sprocket ,Staying on #2 rd the biking was a bit easier and I had a bit of an Undulating logging rd ahead of me although it is a bit isolated up here I had my bear bell dangling behind me letting the wild life know that I was on the way.Coming to the 6 km mark I geared down for an hill was ahead and this is about as far as I had been previously I usually turned left here to go to Copper Canyon logging rd, this time I went straight ahead  for an steady climb up, the road wasn't bad at all although there were a few rough stretches where they had filled in the road with courser rock This is were the road had washed out earlier but had to get fixed because they were doing a bit of logging not to far ahead.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
