Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Did my run in Duncan in reverse order today, thinking it wouldn't be as hilie this way . Gibbons rd wasn't bad once i got passed vimyhall and it was down hill to menzies rd it has a slight dip in it and a gradual hill coming out off the dip which goes on for a while, then coming to old lake cowichan rd it was easy going till I got on cowichan valley hwy getting here I went over Tansor road .Tansor rd also has a slight raise which surprised me because I had expected it to be level. I should know better because the only level place that i run on is the track , but even the track seems up hill. Running along the hwy I get to Drink water rd and a bit of a climb to north rd and it is smooth sailing till I get to somenos rd then berkeys corner down hill past the hospital a slight uphill and then you coast down goverment str just when i was getting out of breath, I had one more hill to run up this one was at the start of Cliff road and would take me to the finish, I like this route because it throws a little of every thing at you, so it prepares you for a hilly race or a flat even course coming to the end I had to remind myself to relax and to not tense up , as a cool down I cut some grass with a push lawn mower at Life Style By Choice. Have Fun and Train Smart.

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
