Welcome to my blog. I started this blog to talk about the running and hiking that I do and just ramble along about the things I enjoy.. Nothing’s impossible, I have found -- For when my chin is on the ground ----- I pick myself up, dust myself off, And start all over again—

Snow Shoeing
A couple of days ago I went to the mainland and hooked up with Graham and Riley , we went snow shoeing on Hollyburn Mt on the north shore, lots of snow and the climb was steep , so after a while we had to bribe Riley a bit with chocolate to give him the energy to climb some more other wise we had to pull him up the mt on the sled , and he is no light weight any more. its amazing how much energy it takes to pull him on the sled , but he did awesome although he did have me scrambling to get out of the way of the snow balls that seemed to be heading my way. Although it took us a while to get up the mt, running on the way down at first I had to get used to the feeling of the snow shoes the area they covered and the awkwardness of trying to run in them , but you get used to the feeling and before long you didn't notice the snow shoes as we were going all out on the way down . .

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
