Standing on holland creek bridge watching the creek roar towards me.

watching the water you can feel the power and the power of the water goes right through you |
Tuesday went for a 13k.m run to holland creek and running along the creek you could here it roaring over the rocks full off the rain and melting snow. although I ran over a few little streams that were running over the trail, the running it self went well . I didnt go up to hearth Lake it was windy and the clouds were spitting at me so I knew it would not be any better running at a higher elevation,

Last hill I had to run up getting to water reservor by Holland creek |
running to batie drive along the power line I turned unto Davis rd then to the hwy , and here the wind that was coming head on mixed with the draft from the trucks going past as they try to blow you over the side from the air turbulence that is left in the wake of the trucks . getting to Camper corner I turn towards Stocking creek park here running went better out of the wind .----------- Monday evening ran to Ladysmith along first till I got to buller str which I tought started steeper then Symonds str . By the time I got to 2cnd ave I was getting slower and decided to run along 2cnd towards symonds thinking it would be easier going up the first bit wasnt bad but still tired from trying Bullard str it didnt take long before I was just about walking I think I could have walked faster then I was running , On symonds str the steep part is on the top so I ended up doing two steep runs, getting to the top by 5th It didnt take long to recover and off I went to Malone and back to the gym just in time to get a ride home with Gail as she was finished her spinning class

In running, it doesnt matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say,I have finished; There is a lot of satisfaction in having accomplished that goal, its a great feeling. Runnertwo
